Dahlia Dog

As many may already know, we have a new baby out here at Indian Creek Winery. Tammy went to the Meridian Valley Humane Society about 2 weeks ago and saved a 6 month old pup. She is half black lab and half border collie (with a little heeler in there too maybe?). In coming up with a name we struggled for a couple days trying to find the perfect name for her. One of our biggest obsessions besides wine is Dahlias. If you have been out to the winery in August or September you probably had a hard time not noticing the hundreds of Dahlias across the property. Right now we are gearing up to start planting this years crop of Dahlias and we just released our Dahlia label wines so we decided to call her none other than Dahlia. Since she is our baby and we are spoiling her more than we probably should you will probably see a few more photo posts of her over the next few years.
