2007 Malbec and the Idaho Humane Society

Last night the Idaho Humane Society auctioned off the Indian Creek Winery 2007 Malbec label for a whopping $2500! We will feature the winning bidders pooch on the upcomin 2007 vintage Malbec. All the proceeds from the auction went straight back to the Humane Society and we are also donating a portion of all 2007 Malbec sales as well. Do you want your pooch on next years label? You’ll have to show up at the 2010 Idaho Humane Society Lawn Party for a chance to bid on it.

We were very excited to have the label go for such a high price. Before the auction started Tammy and I placed bets on what the final bid would be. Both of us fairly nervous we came up with lowball estimates of $1000 and $1200. It ended up more than double that! We are happy we could raise so much money for such a good cause by doing something as simple as donating a label. Look for the 2007 Malbec to be released in early August when we plan to have a “Doggy Dayz” festival out at the winery. Stay tuned for details.
