Horizon Air
It was both a slow and busy weekend. Yesterday the tasting room was pretty quiet while today was actually quite busy. Booked a few more weddings and answered many questions from quite a few future brides/moms….by the time Mike and I get married I’ll probably have everything already figured out and perfect with all of the wedding experience I’ve gained under my belt the past few years. Will and Joyce’s visit was great – short and sweet. Will’s company ( http://www.ednetics.com/ ) that he started up with his best friend since kindergarten is keeping him extremely busy as he runs the Seattle branch and my sis-in-law just started up her business: http://www.transcendentdesign.com/ featuring high-end photo and design services. Check the sites. We also had some friends visit Mike and I and we had a late-night wine tour and tasting in the winery. One last thing I’ll leave you with – the March issue of Horizon Air features Idaho, a little bit about every wonderful thing Idaho has to offer…writer Linda Hagen Miller visited five wineries and here’s what she wrote about us:
“At casual Indian Creek Winery, a sign on the barrel-room door announces, “It’s Wine Thirty.” A black labrador named Aussie rushes out to say hello, followed by owner and “master whiner” Bill Stowe, whose wines have won more than one Northwest Wine Summit honor. I sample a full-bodied cabernet sauvignon, chat with loquacious Bill, and pat Aussie on the head. It all makes for an excellent day.”
