Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiird Netting!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, we have officially seen some bird damage in the vineyard. What is strange this year is that there’s quite a diversity of these critters…usually mostly starlings and blackbirds but we’ve seen some doves in the mix too (and I love doves…they don’t eat the grapes and make beautiful songs). We have a hawk in the mix too thats trying to patrol the annoying starlings but I’m afraid he’s outnumbered.

So to control the amount of bird damage, we’ve purchased bird netting and today will be our first day applying the netting. We plan on putting this netting on every single row in the vineyard. Wish us luck…. 😀
